GOOD times
More on our summer plans, we’ve just confirmed that we will also appear at The Innocent Village Fete on August 2nd & 3rd this year in London. We’ll be in the Farmers Market section. Come and see our shiny little GOOD OIL Tuk Tuk in the sun (we hope) and taste some yummy hemp oil, cold-pressed at Collabear Farm.
See you there and have a GOOD weekend

Out and about
Just to let you know where to catch up with us next, we thought we’d give you a quick update of the coming weeks. If you’re a dietitian or nutritionist and attending The British Dietetic Association Conference on June 17th, we’ll be meeting and greeting some of the folks who advise on what to eat and why to eat it.
We hit the Midlands next with a 4 day stint at C4 Taste of Birmingham, 10th – 13th July. We’re right near the entrance at Stand D1 and we’ll be doling out goodness in the form of tastings and recipes. We’ll also be running a good (or should we say great) competition so don’t forget to pick up a leaflet from one of our good guys and girls at the stand.

GOOD for brains
We noticed a story in the Independent on Sunday about parents stocking up on ‘Brain Foods’ for their children during exam time. Sales of nuts and seeds particularly, have increased as Mums & Dads top up their youngsters diets with essential fatty acids (EFA’s).
While the article debated if a short burst of Omega’s would actually boost exam results, what was clear was the importance of these essential fats which we can only get through food – “60% of your brain is made up of essential fats which the body cannot make”. The article finished (and we completely agree) by saying that adults and children should be getting a balanced, Omega-rich diet year round, not just for a brain boost!
At GOOD, we’ve been eulogising the value of Omega’s for some time and without blowing our own trumpet (oh OK, maybe just a little bit), the ratio of Omega’s in GOOD OIL matches the body, so using GOOD OIL every day is an easy way to metabolise some of these lovely, and very useful, EFA’s.
