GOOD Recipe: Happy Hemp Pesto

Serves four

You need a high power blender

Takes 10 mins


1 cup (125g) GOOD shelled hemp seeds

¼ cup (30g) whole hemp seeds

1 tsp agave

½ cup (125 ml) GOOD OIL

¼ tsp salt

1 clove garlic

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tsp chlorella powder (optional)

1 bunch basil

Put both kinds of hemp seeds in the blender and whizz up for a few seconds to get them broken down. Next, add the agave, hemp oil, salt, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and chlorella and blend again to make a cream. Finally, add in the basil and blend until smooth. Store in an airtight jar in the fridge, it keeps pretty well, for at least a week.
