Are you the type of person who is usually rushing about in the morning with no time to eat a proper breakfast? If the answer is yes then overnight oats are for you! They can be prepared the night before and eaten straight from the fridge in the morning without any fussing around. So, what are overnight oats? I eat what I believe to be a super-booster porridge each morning, which goes roughly Porridge made with almond milk, kiwi fruit, cocoa nibs, turmeric powder, honey and hemp oil. the first thing I have on waking is lemon juice & ginger in hot water, followed by chai seeds and ground black pepper in water.
I know my porridge sounds horrendous, but I really am addicted to it now and miss it if even one ingredient is missed- the ground black pepper in the chai seeds drink is to increase absorption of turmeric by 1000% (apparently) and a couple of times a week I throw in apple cider vinegar – got to be the worst tasting drink ever…..
I am about to start trying to create my own ‘bulletproof’ coffee by using hemp oil instead of MCT….
